RemedyFind: Rate which eating disorder treatments really work

| | Comments (0)

Remedyfind is a free, non-commercial site that lets individuals rate the effectiveness of the treatments they have used for particular health conditions. Its owner, Brett Hodges, started it 3 years ago to try to find help with treatments for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. After doing the CFS section he realized the same approach could also work for other chronic health conditions and has recently added an eating disorders section.

Of course, everyone's different, but it's an innovative approach to actually ask people who have experience of eating disorders what they have found helpful, rather than clinicians deciding what is best. If you'd like to take part, just visit the site, select a treatment you have tried, and use an online form to rate its effectiveness, side-effects etc. Then you write up a short written review. You need to register to submit reviews, but you can remain anonymous.
