December 2004 Archives
The 7th London International Conference on Eating Disorders will be held at Imperial College, London from 4th to 6th April 2005.
The full conference programme is now available from the conference website. The programme looks really exciting, with speakers including Gerald Russell and Sten Theander on 25 years of bulimia nervosa, Kelly Vitousek on 'Alienating patients from the anorexic self' and an interesting plenary session entitled 'Coercion, Collaboration and Choice', chaired by Steven Touyz.
A two-day workshop on Transdiagnostic CBT for Eating Disorders will be held in Bristol on 27th and 28th January 2005, presented by Professor Christopher Fairburn from the University of Oxford.
Professor Fairburn will describe his team's new unified cognitive behavioural approach to the treatment of the full range of eating disorders seen in clinical practice (including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and the various forms of atypical eating disorder).
