Eating Disorders 2005 / Kongress Esstörungen 2005, 13th International Conference on Eating Disorders will be held from September 5th-7th, 2005 in Innsbruck, Austria.

It will be followed by the 9th General Meeting of the European Council on Eating Disorders from 7th - 9th September. I hear from the organisers that this meeting at the ECED Innsbruck 2005 meeting will include special sections dedicated to improve cooperation betweenall European Scientific Societies and self-help organisations for eating disorders. In addition, a special section will be dedicated to specialized ED training courses all over Europe, aimed at comparing existing models and experiences and at agree common standards across Europe for such training.
Woman's Hour on BBC Radio 4 had a special programme on body shape last Monday (31st Jan 05). It was followed by a phone in on Tuesday, where women gave their views about their bodies and pressure to conform to a thin ideal.

Miami filmmakers announce completion of 'The ABCs of Eating Disorders', a
documentary film which aims to give insight into life with an eating disorder.
The documentary is being released to coincide with Eating Disorder Awareness Week
in the US (February 27th - March 5th)
