The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Research.
Responsibilities for this position include:
• Use research data and tools to interface with and enhance clinical process/procedures
• Collaborate on a recently-funded NIMH grant to study the application of CBT procedures to The Renfrew Center’s Intensive Outpatient Program

• Assess, track and report on Renfrew patients at the beginning and end of treatment to determine degree of change
• Participate in developing benchmarks for patient improvement/outcomes
• Prepare data-based reports to assist in marketing and public relations efforts.
• Plan and collaborate with external researchers on projects that contribute to Renfrew’s research department goals.
• Secure grant funding from government and private sources
• Develop grant applications to meet the goals of the Research department
• Plan and carry out appropriate empirical studies while leading efforts to mine The Renfrew Center’s rich data base and prepare, and publish research-based papers.
• Adjunct faculty appointment and involvement in Drexel University’s Ph.D. Program in clinical Psychology may be arranged
Requires:
• PhD from APA-approved clinical psychology program preferred
• Post Doctoral research experience in eating disorders preferred
• Research experience mandatory. Healthcare and educational experience desirable, but not essential.
• Recent Ph.D. graduates and those with several years of research and/or clinical experience will be considered for the position
