Newton-Wellesley Eating Disorders and Behavioral Medicine is seeking a Massachusetts licensed psychotherapist (PhD/PsyD/LICSW), for a halftime (fulltime possible) post in their Brookline and Newton offices. The successful
candidate for this position will have expertise in one or more of the
following areas: psychotherapy and case management of eating
disordered patients, CBT, cognitive therapy, DBT, and/or behavioral medicine. Expertise includes some well supervised clinical experience in the treatment modality or clinical area indicated. Ample collegial contact and individual/group supervision are provided to develop new clinical skills.
The clinical team is composed of eight psychologists, three psychiatrists, three social workers, and two registered dieticians. Services include consultation to patients, families and health care professionals; individual, group and family treatment; psychiatric evaluation and psychopharmacologic treatment as well as nutritional counseling, case management and treatment coordination.

The Royal College of Psychatrists along with Peterborough Mental Health NHS Trust and the Phoenix Centre will be organising the Sixth National Conference on Adolescent Eating Disorders: Working Together in London on 7th December 2007.
The conference aims to share recent developments in research and good practice with professionals, service users and carers.
