Upcoming conferences

I’m sad to be missing the International Conference on Eating Disorders this year. It’s usually a great meeting, very well organised by the Academy of Eating Disorders team. This year’s meeting is in Austin, Texas, with an opening keynote by Scott Lilienfeld entitled ‘The Great Myths of Popular Psychology: Lessons for Eating Disorder Researchers and Practitioners’.

I will be going along to the Eating Disorders Research Society meeting this year. It’s a bit closer to home in Porto, Portugal and promises to be the usual intense programme of high quality research presentations, alongside an excellent social programme. Hope to see some of you there!
