Organisations: August 2004 Archives

Thanks to Andreas Karawautz for letting me know about the new Austrian Society on Eating Disorders (ASED or OEGES in German). Apparently, it is the only German speaking research society on eating disorders. The site also contains information in English, which is useful for English-speaking professionals looking for treatment resources.

Here's a list of national organisations I know about for professionals working with eating disorders. There are also a couple of international organisations. They offer a range of facilities and resources, including training, conferences, networking, email mailing lists and so on. I'd be interested to hear about other organisations in the many parts of the world which aren't currently covered. You can email me or leave a comment below.
