Newton-Wellesley Eating Disorders and Behavioral Medicine is seeking a Massachusetts licensed psychotherapist (PhD/PsyD/LICSW), for a halftime (fulltime possible) post in their Brookline and Newton offices. The successful
candidate for this position will have expertise in one or more of the
following areas: psychotherapy and case management of eating
disordered patients, CBT, cognitive therapy, DBT, and/or behavioral medicine. Expertise includes some well supervised clinical experience in the treatment modality or clinical area indicated. Ample collegial contact and individual/group supervision are provided to develop new clinical skills.

The clinical team is composed of eight psychologists, three psychiatrists, three social workers, and two registered dieticians. Services include consultation to patients, families and health care professionals; individual, group and family treatment; psychiatric evaluation and psychopharmacologic treatment as well as nutritional counseling, case management and treatment coordination.

Newton-Wellesley Eating Disorders and Behavioral Medicine is in the process of expanding its clinical staff with the following positions:

PSYCHOTHERAPISTS (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D. or LICSW): NWEDBMED seeks two Massachusetts licensed clinicians, either psychologists or social workers (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D. or LICSW), for one full time and one half-time position in our Newton-Wellesley Hospital and Brookline offices. The successful candidates for these positions will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: psychotherapy and case management of eating disordered patients, CBT, DBT, behavioral medicine. Eating disorders treatment experience is preferred. Ample collegial contact and individual/group supervision are provided to develop new clinical skills. Some evening or weekend hours required.

The Renfrew Center of Philadelphia has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Research.
Responsibilities for this position include:
• Use research data and tools to interface with and enhance clinical process/procedures
• Collaborate on a recently-funded NIMH grant to study the application of CBT procedures to The Renfrew Center’s Intensive Outpatient Program

Isham House (Northampton, UK) are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic RMN (E Grade, full or part time) to assist in the provision of comprehensive treatment programmes within our Eating Disorders Unit. Salary Range will be £19,395 - £23,312 plus £550 p.a. allowance.

The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to work closely with other multidisciplinary team members and to undertake the role of care co-ordinator to individual patients. Experience of working within this clinical area is not essential, but a commitment to professional and personal development is required. The University of Minnesota invite applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Adolescent Psychology to begin Sept 2005. Clinical work focuses on adolescent eating disorders and obesity, as well as other concomitant mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, chronic illnesses, & family problems. The position is 50-60% clinical with the remainder split between seminars & research experiences. Fellowships are one to two years. Stipend is $36,400 + benefits. New Dawn Recovery Center seeks Clinical Director for our Residential Eating Disorders Program in the Sacramento, CA area. Licensure as a clinical psychologist and two years of experience working with patients with Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa required. At least one year of experience working in a residential or inpatient eating disorders setting preferred. Responsibilities include: hiring and supervising a multidisciplinary team, developing treatment program, conducting diagnostic evaluations, and providing individual, group, family and couples psychotherapy.

The Department of Psychiatry at Michigan State University is recruiting a faculty member for a tenure track position in eating disorders/obesity. Candidates should hold an MD, DO and/or PhD degree. The Department of Psychiatry is a joint department of the College of Human Medicine and the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University. Current research includes fMRI and epidemiology across the life span. The successful candidate will be expected to join other faculty members in the Department of Psychology and around the university in research in eating disorders or obesity. The department are interested in junior and midlevel faculty members who will develop and nurture research skills in a collaborative environment.
